The newest edition of Producing Beauty Pageants is a must read for anyone interested in producing/directing their own pageant. It is also an interesting read for those interested in competing in pageants. The guide contains tips on starting a pageant business, including how to find and secure a venue, admission tickets and program books without breaking the bank. There are chapters dedicated to social media and directing a pageant, along with chapters on recruiting contestants and securing a qualified panel of judges. Of considerable interest are the notes throughout the book on how a well known national pageant system runs their business. To obtain more detailed information on producing pageants and starting your own business, it is suggested you read the author’s book series on producing pageants.
