o kick off the Girl Scout Cookie season, the Girl Scouts of Green and White Mountains along with Irene Raissis Alton, a Girl Scout troop leader and the current Mrs. New Hampshire United States 2009 were featured on WMUR's Cooks Corner on February 12th, 2010. During the live broadcast, Alton along with WMUR's Erin Fehlau, introduced the 8 flavors of Girl Scout Cookies and prepared her favorite Girl Scout Cookie Recipe, "Thin Mint Cookie Ice Cream Pie" by using Girl Scout Cookies!

Pageants for married women are plentiful. Pageant Organizers are learning that women do not want to stop competing in pageants when they say "I Do". Married women are as beautiful and intelligent, if not more than their single counterparts. And these pageants are often more exciting when husbands are involved.

Most pageants for married women require that contestants have celebrated at least 6 months if not one year in marriage. The age of each contestant varies. Most married pageants also do not have a requirement for minimum number of children.
