The Miss District of Columbia USA/TEEN USA 206 pageant was held at the J.W. Marriott Hotel November 26, 2005. Shauntay Hinton, Miss USA 2002 served as hostess for the event. The delegates were lead into the ballroom by the reigning queens, Miss District of Columbia Teen USA 2005, Danai Mattison and Miss District of Columbia USA 2005 Sarah Langford. The grand ballroom was standing room only throughout the competition with supporters and the reserved section was filled with former and current titleholders in a variety of systems.

At the conclusion of the evening Candace Allen (who was the swimsuit and evening gown winner) was crowned Miss District of Columbia USA 2006.

The first runner up was Camille Lewis (MD MAO 2002, 4th RU at Miss America); 2nd runner up was Tonya Shive; 3rd runner up was Jennifer Williams and 4th runner up was Mercedes Lindsay (4th RU in 2005).

The remaining top 10 included: Amira Baker (1st RU 2005, 2004, 2003); Russella Davis (2nd RU in 2005)l Phallon Kimpson; Natasha Prakash (DC TUSA 2003); and Rebecca Stewart (TN MAO contestant).

Jasmine Niernberger (who was the swimsuit and evening gown winner) was crowned Miss District of Columbia Teen USA 2006.

The first runner up was Jessica Jenkins; 2nd runner up was Zayani Sims; 3rd runner up was Skyler Whitehurst and 4th runner up was Shakeda Ready.

The remaining top 9 included: Anjanie Deonauth, Rosette Gianniotis, Angel Holifield, and Marie Stephenson.

Aspen Stieb was voted Miss Congeniality by the other delegates and Shakeda Ready was voted Miss Teen Congeniality.
