Venezuela Wins Reina Hispanoamericana for Fifth TimeGlobal Beauties / Photo by El DebeerOctober 29, 2009 Adriana Vasini Sánchez, a 22-year old currently in her 4th year of Medical school, was crowned Reina Hispanoamericana 2009 during the annual pageant held in Santa Cruz, Bolivia on Thursday night. The 1.78 m beauty from Maracaibo, Venezuela, was always considered one of the top choices for the crown. She currently holds the title of Miss World Venezuela, expecting to compete at the Miss World 2010 pageant in Vietnam. The “Virreina” or “vice-miss” is 19-year old Sandra Vinces, Miss Ecuador; the 1st runner-up was Brazil (Livia Nepomuceno), 2nd runner-up was Spain (Melody Mir); 3rd runner-up was Bolivia (Flavia Foianini), 4th runner-up Dominican Republic (Rocio Castellon) and the 5th runner-up was Colombia (Lina Mosquera).
