Gibraltar Wins Miss World For First TImeGlobal BeautiesDecember 12, 2009 Kaiane Aldorino, Miss Gibraltar has won the coveted crown as Miss World 2009, triumphing out of 112 beautiful and talented young women in the 59th Miss World Final from Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg, City of Gold. The 1st Runner-Up was Miss Mexico; the 2nd Runner-Up was Miss South Africa; the 3rd Runner-Up was Miss France; the 4th Runner-Up was Miss Canada; the 5th Runner-Up was Miss Panama; and the 6th Runner-Up was Miss Colombia. The remaining Semi Finalists were: Miss Brazil, Miss India, Miss Japan, Miss Kazakhstan, Miss Korea, Miss Martinique, Miss Poland, and Miss Vietnam.
