Miss France 2010 CrownedMichael Knittel / Global BeautiesDecember 4, 2009 Miss Normandie Malika Menard, a 22-year old student from Caen, was crowned Miss France 2010 during the annual gala held in Nice, France, on December 4th. Menard, who stands 1.76 m tall, was crowned by outgoing titleholder Chloe Mortaud, who is currently participating in the Miss World contest in South Africa. Mortaud got a 24-hour pass from the pageant so she could fly to her country to crown her succesor. The 1st runner-up was Miss Rhone-Alpes Virginie Dechenaud, while the 2nd runner-up was Miss Bretagne Melanie Craigno. The third runner up was Miss Provence, Emilie Corbi and the fourth runner up was Miss Quercy-Rouergue, Nathalie Ample.
