Typhani Janelle Russo

Pennsylvania's Perfect Miss

Typhani is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Integrative Arts and Dance. She attained her four year degree in two years and is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Education at Saint Francis University.

She is an accomplished performer having appeared in dozens of musical theater productions the most recent being "The World Goes Round" at Cresson Lake Playhouse. She has been privileged with numerous performance opportunities in venues across Pennsylvania, New York City, Orlando, Canada and in six countries of Europe including Notre Dame Cathedral and Disneyland, Paris. She was a dancer in two Bowl game halftime shows and has recorded two CD's with profits being donated to charity. She teaches and choreographs for Blair Dance Academy and Blair Dance Company as well as donating her time and talents to theater productions.

She is the founder of the "Queenz for Kidz" Crusade, "Out of the Darkness of Cruelty and Into the Light of Compassion" campaign and is the Pennsylvania coordinator for Love Letters, Random Cards of Kindness. Her extensive community involvement includes the Arthritis Foundation which is near and dear to her heart since she is afflicted with the disease, Easter Seals, American Cancer Society, Dream Factory, Miracle League, Central PA Humane Society and Aid for Animals-Laws for Paws.

Typhani is waiting patiently for her boyfriend Kevin to return home safely from serving in Afghanistan. She will be competing at the National Pageant for America's Perfect Miss in August.
