2008 Best of the Best Nomination

We're leaving the Best of the Best Nomination Period open throughout the pageant season!!!

With 2008 officially ends, we'll accept nominations until January 31, 2009.

COMPETITION AWARDS

To submit a nomination, you'll need to complete the following form per nomination.

We need to see the gown to know if it was the best, so pictures MUST BE included for the following categories. Nominations become invalid if no picture is available.

Nominations are open to any pageant system and any level in that system.

Pageants that awarded 2008 title but the event was held in 2007 are not eligible.
Pageants that awarded 2009 title but the event was held in 2008are eligible.

Category:
Best Active Wear (aerobic wear, tennis wear, etc.)
Best Sportswear (the 'snappy casual' or 'dressy casual' looks)
Division:

Teen entries must have competed in a Teen Division in 2008
Mrs entries must have competed in a Mrs Division in 2008
Woman entires are 30 and older could have competed in any division
Plus entries are any age but are sized 14+
Nominee:
Nominee's Title (if applicable)
Pageant:
(What pageant did Nominee compete at in the calendar year 2007)
Picture:
Files should be less than 300KB. (Nominations become invalid if no picture is available.)

  • Feel free to nomiate more than one person.
  • Please DO NOT nominating yourself more than once per cateogry. These categories will be voted upon at a later date, so frequent nomination does not increase your chances of winning.

BEST OVERALL CONTESTANT

Who was your favorite contestant to watch onstage? Who was your favorite contestant to work with as a director? Which contestant inspires you to be your best? Which contestant would you be cheering for if you are not chosen the winner at a pageant?

The Best Overall Contestant does not have to be the eventual winner of a particular pageant or even the Miss Congeniality winner. She has to be someone the whole world should know about because of her amazing on-stage and off-stage qualities.

'OFF STAGE' AWARDS

Pageantry involves a lot of people and services beyond the contestants themselves. Nominations for the following categories celebrate those 'services' that help make pageants work well and contestants feel confident when they hit the stage. Please tell us why your nominee should win their category.

Winners will be selected based on number of entries and the written endorsements supplied.

These categories are not division specific.
