Meet the TFTJ Correspondent Pool

At TFTJ, we want to be Your Pageant News Source. To make this happen, we would like to introduce you to some of our principal sources, our correspondents.

TFTJ Correspondents are volunteers who travel to pageants in their area to bring you the best and most accurate news from across the pageant world. They are the "Eyes and Ears" of TFTJ and bring the world of pageants to you.

Becoming a Correspondent

Various pageant systems or states with a particular systems are sadly under represented on our site. Therefore, TFTJ wants to award official "Correspondent" positions to volunteers in particular areas. Correspondents will receive press credentials where applicable, allowing them to cover the full story of a pageant.

The qualifications of a correspondent are simple.

  • We would like the story, the whole story.
  • We would like a person committed to going to a pageant, finding out the names of all the girls in the pageant. We want to know as much about the contestants competiting as the contestant that wins. For example, we want to know a contestant's age, school/major, talent/song, platform, hair color, eye color, etc.
  • For covering the event, we would like more than who won what. We would like to know who won the awards, what the winner wore, who made the funniest comments in the question/answer section.
  • Who were the emcees, what was this stage production? Visiting Royalty?
  • Etc., etc.

Our correspondent is our eyes and ears at the pageant. Also, we would like a correspondent to take pictures, lots of pictures. Although the reaction and crowning shots are very important, we would also like to see what else happened off-stage and on-stage.

Again, this is a volunteer position for pageant fans who love pageants.

If you are interested in being an official TFTJ Correspondent for a city, state, or system, please contact TFTJ E-mail.
