Fifty-two outstanding high school students from across the nation competed for the title of Miss America’s Outstanding Teen, as well as $150,000 in scholarship assistance, with the winner receiving a $30,000 college scholarship. This is the fourth year for the pageant. The pageant is taking place at the Orlando Convention Center from August 12 to 16.

Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2007 Caitlin Brunell was on hand to crown her successor.

Final Results

Miss South Carolina's Outstanding Teen, Taylor Fitch walked the runway as the fourth Miss America's Outstanding Teen on Saturday night in the Linda Chapin Theater at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. This historic crowning moment marked her first steps on a journey that will take her across the country promoting scholastic achievement, creative accomplishment, community involvement and healthy living for our nation's youth.

She will support the National Platform of the Miss America Org. the Children's Miracle Network. In addition, she will also continue to work on her own personal platform "Challenges: Heart, Mind and Hands."

The first runner up was Miss Pennsylvania's Outstanding Teen Julia Rae Schlucter; second runner up was Miss Arkansas' Outstanding Teen Sloane Roberts; third runner up was Miss Maryland's Outstanding Teen Joanna Guy; and fourth runner up was Miss Missouri's Outstanding Teen Sydnee Stottlemyre.

The remaining semifinalists were: Miss California's Outstanding Teen, Crystal Lee; Miss District of Columbia's Outstanding Teen, Jasmine Alexis; Miss Texas' Outstanding Teen, Sydney Capello; Miss Oklahoma's Outstanding Teen, Alicia Clifton; and Miss Virginia's Outstanding Teen, Lexie Overholt.

Thursday Prelim Results

Miss Texas' Outstanding Teen Sydney Capello was named Thursday night's preliminary talent winner at the Linda Chapin Theater in the Orange County Convention Center during the third night of competition. Also in the spotlight were Miss Utah's Outstanding Teen, McKenna Marie Lewis and Miss Arkansas' Outstanding Teen Sloane Roberts, who won the preliminary awards for Sportswear and Evening Wear, respectively.

Wednesday Prelim Results

Miss Arkansas' Outstanding Teen, Sloane Roberts, was named Wednesday night's preliminary talent winner at the Linda Chapin Theater in the Orange County Convention Center during the second night of competition. Also in the spotlight were Miss North Dakota's Outstanding Teen, Ariana Walker, and Miss California's Outstanding Teen, Crystal Lee, who won the preliminary awards for Evening Wear and Sportswear, respectively.

Tuesdday Prelim Results

Miss Oklahoma's Outstanding Teen Alicia Clifton was named Tuesday night's preliminary talent winner at the Linda Chapin Theater in the Orange County Convention Center during the first night of competition. Also in the spotlight were Miss Texas' Outstanding Teen Sydney Capello and Miss Maryland's Outstanding Teen Joanna Guy, who won the preliminary awards for Evening Wear and Sportswear, respectively.
