The Ms United States pageant was held in Las Vegas, NV. from July 9 to July 15, 2010.  The reigning Ms United States 2009 Quiana Anderson was on hand to crown her successor.

On July 15, 2010 Tristan Topps was crowned Ms. United States 2010 at The Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Following a premlimary competition on Wednesday evening, the field was narrowed down to a top 6. The top 6 finalists were; Texas, Amanda Houdashell; Georgia, Stacey Rook; Massachussetts, Monique Jones; Arizona,Tristan Topps; Kansas, Lisa Forbes; and South Carolina, Patricia Capps Robbins.

Each finalist competed in On Stage Question, Swimsuit, and Evening Gown.

After a brief intermission the winners were announced.  The 2nd Runner Up was Ms. South Carolina, Patricia Capps Robbins and the 1st Runner Up was Ms Texas, Amanda Houdashell.

The new Ms United States 2010 is Tristan Topps who competed as Ms. Arizona.

Special award were as follows:

Miss Congeniality - New Jersey, Margret Skourlis
Spirit of Pageantry - South Carolina, Patricia Capps Robbins
Supermodel With Style - Massachussetts, Monique Jones

Tristan is 26 years old and from Chandler, Arizona. She holds a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from Hampton University and currently works for Clear Channel Radio.

Throughout her reign she will continue to raise awareness and work with The Make A Wish Foundation and is looking forward to working with other charitable groups around the country.
