Stefania Fernandez The Miss Universe System is an international beauty pageant for women aged 18 to 26. Very few "brands" or entertainment properties reach 50th anniversaries, let alone with new energy, strength and influence. The Miss Universe Organization, now in its 55th year, is an exception. Stronger than ever, its global reach and impact are setting standards for the future. The women compete in 3 phases of competition which include: Interview 33%, Evening Wear 33% and Swimwear 34%. The Miss Universe pageant is co-owned by the Trump Organization and NBC network. The show is broadcast domestically on NBC and Telemundo and distributed around the world to nearly a billion viewers.
