This week former Miss Teen World Amy Jackson competed for Miss England World.  She came in as second runner up to the new Miss England World.

New Pageant In Town

A new pageant is making its way to the sunflower state. The Miss Teen Kansas World pageant will be held this spring in Wichita, KS. The pageant is the state preliminary that leads to competition in the Miss Teen United States-World pageant held in Houston in June, 2009. There are 4 areas of competition: evening gown, swimsuit, interview, and poise and beauty. This pageant also offers an optional academic achievement award that may have a scholarship attached to it. This pageant is redefining beauty pageants for teenagers, encouraging them to be "your own kind of beautiful."
