In essence, it's a "Pageant myspace or facebook." Sign up for a simple, and free membership @ www.pageantpalace.ning.com.
Most pageant gals would also appreciate Graziella's two other networking sites:
1) B.Youneek- A place where women can learn and share information on beauty, fashion, fitness, health/wellness and be inspired. www.byouneek.ning.com
2) Dance New York- A space for all who love dance! www.dancenewyork.ning.com
One of Graziella's goals this year as Ms. United States is to utilize the web for greater exposure to spread her platform messages. The B.Youneek network especially, is an extension of her platforms "I aM for Women" inspiration and motivation to empower women, and "Healthy Habits for Life." Graziella believes that women need to unite, support and uplift one another to succeed. These networks, among many other things, give women the opportunity to do just that.

The Mrs. Florida United States® Pageant, Miss & Ms. Florida United States Pageant®, and Miss Teen and Jr. Teen Florida United States Pageants®, licensed to Florida U.S. Pageants for the past eight years, has announced plans to actively look for local directors for the 2009 pageant season, which begins August 1, 2008. Applications are being accepted from individuals and groups who wish to produce a local preliminary competition in their geographic area. Application, guidelines and additional information can be obtained by contacting Executive Director, Pam Bolter. One or all five preliminary directorships can be obtained for the following divisions Jr. Teen (12-15), Teen (16-19), Miss (20-27), Ms. (25-50), and Mrs. Florida (21 and over). There is no talent competition in the Florida U.S. Pageants; delegates for local titles will compete in the same manner as the state pageant: Interview, Swimsuit, Evening Gown and On-Stage Q&A. Florida U.S. Pageants is owned by Mrs. Bolter, who was Mrs. Florida United States® 2001 and placed in the top twelve at the Mrs. United States Pageant. She was a local director for Miss Florida America® for a number of years, and is a 30 year volunteer with the Miss America Organization. Pam has been involved in pageantry for over 30 years as a contestant, consultant, judge, emcee, director and producer. The Florida U.S. Pageant is “The Pageant With A Purpose” and encourages all state delegates to be a positive role model and active volunteer. The Pageant’s charity of choice is Making Memories: Brides Against Breast Cancer, and to date, they have raised over $40,000 for the wish fulfillment fund. Local competitions may be held September 1st, 2008 through March 15th, 2009. The state competition is scheduled for May 1-3, 2009 in Ormond Beach, Florida. Conference of Young Alaskans
Kristin Lee Hamerski, Ms Alaska United States,
has been selected as one of the 55 delegates out of 400 young people
who applied from all over the state of Alaska to attend the Conference
of Young Alaskans: Creating Alaska Project, an ambitious undertaking
designed to bring some of the brightest young minds together to write
a plan for Alaska's next 50 years. There were 55 original delegates
who attended Alaska's first Constitutional Convention up in Fairbanks
in 1956 and these new young delegates will be following in their footsteps.
Kristin will also be singing the Alaska Flag Song for the Opening Ceremonies.
Kristin recently visited the traveling exhibit commemorating Alaska's
statehood which depicts Alaska's history as a territory and then its
struggle to become the 49th state. We thought you would enjoy seeing
these photos.
The exhibit and Kristin will be on their way to Fairbanks for the weekend.
