While on a recent family vacation to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Mrs. Global America 2009, Amanda Davis, was invited to "appear" on the "Blue and Korby Ray Show" on Gator 107.9 FM. Amanda met Korby Ray during the Mrs. South Carolina America pageant where they were both competing. Korby Ray was very inspired by Amanda's story of going from being nearly 240 pounds to standing on stage in a swimsuit after losing over 100 pounds. Korby wanted her listeners to hear Amanda's story, so on the radio she went.
Amanda was thrilled at the chance to hopefully inspire other people to get healthy, and to promote the pageant where she had just been crowned Mrs. Global America.
