Source: Art Johnson, Photographer Lauren Ledbetter, Miss Southern Rivers, won the talent compeition Thursday night for a sweep of all three preliminary categories in the 62nd Miss Georgia Pageant. Ledbetter, a 23-year-old University of Georgia student competing in the pageant for the first time, sang "I Am Woman." She was a winner in both lifestyle and fitness/swimsuit and in evening wear Wednesday under a new format that has both novice contestant preliminary winners and returning pageant veterans. The returning contestant winner in talent Thursday was Miss South Georgia, Marsha Moore, who tap danced to Stevie Wonder's "Superstition." Miss Gwinnett County, Erina Patterson, was a double winner among the novices, in swimsuit and evening wear. The returning swimsuit winner, Miss Onion Capital Devan Fleming, was a talent winner on Tuesday. The returnee winner in evening wear Thursday, the final night for preliminary competition, was Leslie Culbertson, Miss Elliottia.
