Jill Knapp, Mrs. Treasure Island Intl (ID):My platform is type 2 diabetes. It is near and dear to my heart because I was diagnosed with it a little over 3 yrs ago. Once I found out I was determined to lose weight and get my life back. I have now lost 100 pounds. I am not a diabetes advocate and a motivational speaker helping others have a happier healthier life. Dr. OZ happen to find my story on line and I went to New york to tape a Dr. OZ show. I am a mentor to 3 former beauty queens who have gained wait. They are vying for the title of the next Miss healthy Dr. OZ. One of the ladies has pre-diabetes. I am so blessed to be abler to help her get motivated to turn this around and not let the diabetes affect her. We will be back to New York when the new season starts in late August.
