The 2008 Miss North Carolina's Outstanding Teen Pageant was held June 21, 2008. Miss North Carolina's Outstanding Teen 2007 Brie Anna Hester, was on hand to crown her successor. The new Miss North Carolina's Outstanding Teen 2008 is Mya Hipps, who competed as Gastonia's Outstanding Teen. She is a singer and a newcomer to the North Carolina stage.
