The 2007 Mrs. Texas United States competition was held the weekend of May 11-13, 2007 at the beautiful Westin Stonebriar Resort in Frisco, far north of Dallas. Megan Zucaro, who competed as Mrs. Belton, was crowned the new Mrs. Texas United States 2007.First runner up was Mrs. Harris County, Angelique Hoover; second runner up was Mrs. Houston, Heather Rosplock; third runner up was Mrs. Dallas County, Shannon Bennett; and fourth runner up was Mrs. East Texas, Amy Morton. Special awards were given as follows: Swimsuit Preview Winner: Mrs. Southeast Texas, Tarah Schuster Photogenic Winner: Mrs. Fort Worth, Shauna Westfall Director’s Award: Mrs. Fort Worth, Shauna Westfall TFTJ.com Internet People’s Choice Award: Mrs. Frisco, Sheila Elliott Mrs. Congeniality: Mrs. Katy, Patti Lacy Texas Trivia:
The Lone Star State is grateful to Edrienne Carpenter for capturing the state's first Mrs. United States national title in 2004. She represented the Lone Star very well by appearing on many TV programs such as Dr. Phil and testifying in front of the US Congress on Post Partum Depression.
